Admission Policy

Ages and Grade Levels

A student can be admitted to a grade if he/she passes the evaluation test and his/her age is suitable for that grade according to the following schedule:

1^st	5 yrs. 8 mos.-9 yrs.	8^th	12-14 years
2^nd	6-9 years	9^th	13-15 years
3^rd	7-9 years	10^th	14-16 years
4^th	8-10 years	11^th	15-17 years
5^th	9-11 years	12^th	16-18 years

All students enrolled in the school must abide by the school rules, and failure to do so can result in expulsion. In the event of expulsion, tution and fees will not be refunded.

Nondiscriminatory Policy

The Arabic School of Portland admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
